Saddled Seabream - Oblada melanura

Elongated body, slightly compressed. Short nose and big eye. Silvery grey with bluish reflections on the back. Characteristic big, white-edged, black, saddle-shaped mark on the caudal peduncle. Lives on rocky bottoms and close to Neptune grass, from 3-5 metres to 40 metres. Maximum size 30 centimetres.
