Black Seabream - Spondyliosoma cantharus
Oval, compressed body. Pointed snout, but short. Slightly oblique mouth, pointing
upwards. Long dorsal fin, but it can be totally bent along the back. Brownish-grey
with metallic reflections and golden, longitudinal stripes. Lives on rocky or
sandy bottoms close to Neptune grass from 10-15 metres to 150. Maximum size 60
centimetres.
