Improved Image Navigation
Still getting plenty of suggestions of improvements we are trying to implement the best of the incoming ideas. However we just spend a few weeks fixing a problem with links to a partner site. In the same process we added plenty of images, album pages and subjects to our exhibition. Last improvements we made in navigating through our photo pages. The albums now can be viewed like a slide show without the need of going back to the album page after viewing a image.
Again, we thank all the ones coming up with creative critics and telling us what could be done better. Here we also want thank all our site visitors again for their patience.

Welcome to Dieter and Joy Photography.
and to everybody knowing us already we like to say welcome back and thank you for all the patience you brought along waiting for the new site to open. There is still a lot of work to be done and there will always be something to improve.
Again, we say a warm thank you to all the ones helping with suggestions and sending us all the helpful mails reporting things not working as the should or just finding some mistakes in the text or spelling.
Now a word about the things being new on Dieter and Joy Photography:
We have restructured our gallery part specially the underwater section got lots more sub-galleries to find a specific fish or a specific wreck more easy. Please check at our Underwater Gallery. In the same process we added also some more fish to our exhibition and all slides have now the same look! We are not jumping between old, temporary and new styles any more.
The new E-card interface allows to send e-cards not only from dedicated greeting card folders, every image in the gallery which we have enabled can now be send as an e-card.
Since our final test where all positive we are just a few more days away from putting the download section life.
We are still working on the implementation of allowing user images to be uploaded for photo sharing and a improved navigation system through our photo gallery.

Some Features added
First of all we want to thank you for all that kind e-mails we got. We already implemented a small search engine to search the photo gallery using various criteria like keywords, shooting date, most viewed, most rated or most downloaded images. We also added a rating system, which gives you the possibility to let us know what you think about a specific image. If the final testing goes well, the download part will be open in a couple of weeks time. It still will take some time to get all the images back but we are adding every day and it also will be a little while until the section to create user albums is working.

Our new website is live
More good news. We got our new site online. From testing in to a live website. However, after running a few tests and getting some opinions about our new site put it live. It still will be a while until everything is back up and running and also the shopping system will still lead into a dead end with a paypal test site. This is just to make sure we did not miss anything and the data transfer between our site and the payment processor is as secure as possible. We still like to here your opinion to. If you find something missing, not working or just something you would like to see on our site, please let us know.

Welcome to test our new website
Welcome to test our new website.
We have been promising for a long time. Now, after over 1 year work we managed to get the new pages of Dieter and Joy Photography in to a presentable testing state.
And of course, our passion is in diving and presenting landscapes and the under water world in photography with a basic understanding of website coding. Quickly we had a couple of pages ready but than it started with managing everything and very time consuming back end programming. After spending weeks reading tutorials and books and participating in coding forums the start was done.
However, when we thought we are about to finish other problems came up like implementing a payment processor, a section to pick up purchased downloads a e-card system and, and, and...
Please be patient with us looking through this test pages. You still find dead links, trying to purchase one of our test images will redirect you to PayPal's sandbox and the bookmark function is not implemented yet. Another task is the improvement of our gallery design and a possibility for our customers to showcase there own images.
If you want to leave a comment, you think we have missed something, you find something not working which should or there is something you would like to see on our new pages, we are always open for some constructive critics.
